61-31.505 Is a Law about a Law!

One of the few common threads shared by state licensing and professional certifications is the requirement for continuing education.

In January, Florida passed 61.31.505, a law that requires those licensed for mold assessments or remediation take continuing education from a Florida state-approved course provider.

We understand many of you don’t work in the state of Florida, so, unless you are just attempting to satisfy the new Florida 61.31.505, we suggest you consider course providers who have been accredited by our sister organization - the Foundation for Accredited Learning (FAL).  You can be assured that FAL course providers will provide the continuing education as advertised and as required by ACAC professional certifications.
